Boukhari’s work The Veil is an abstract reflection on this form of concealment. Under an orange cloth, the movements of a human body can be seen, especially the hands. Sometimes parts of the body push against the restricting cloth; sometimes the motions take on an abstract flowing shape, indicating a strong movement under the surface.
